Beavis and Butt-Head return!

The once beloved duo are returning to MTV.  Well maybe not beloved, but remembered one way or another.  On Jimmy Kimmel the characters make an appearance to interview Snooki from Jersey Shore.

Prince Charles searches his roots....?!

Prince Charles is claiming that Vlad the Impaler is one of his ancestors.  Vlad the Impaler was a cruel Romanian War Lord who inspired Bram Stoker to write Dracula.  Such a claim apparently gives the Prince a certain right to the land of Romania, saying this doesn't seem to be just for sentimental value.   My question is, how does one even prove they re related to an ancient warlord... and if it is possible to prove it, maybe through genealogy searchers, why is it that they haven't found it out yet?  My point is, this story seems to be more about claiming power, and gaining attention, then actually finding events to prove a family tree.   Regardless, the story seems to be becoming ever so important in European press.

Jennifer Nicole Lee Playing Football in Miami

Fitness guru, Jennifer Nicole Lee, has apparently leaked public semi-nude photos of herself playing football.  In the photos, she is wearing a tight see-through t-shirt that says "Kiss My ABS."  These wet-t-shirt pics are made for her to "seduce her competitors."

Bernie Madoff,

Bernie Madoff is in prison, and about to be paid a visit by Barbara Walters, for an excludsive interview. "Imagining Madoff," a play about the man's life and crimes, is being performed in Hudson and Washington DC. The whole world seems to be focused on this man and his crimes. Madoff "confessed to running his investment firm as a £41 billion Ponzi scheme," in a related article. The man now serves a 150 year sentence in a facility in North Carolina, where he ironically says he "feels safe," because there is no longer a "fear of being caught."

Bernard L. Madoff’s family would keep about $82 million of “other investors’ money” under a ruling that limited a bankruptcy trustee to claiming from the owners of the New York Mets only two years of withdrawals from the Ponzi scheme, according to a court filing. Bloomberg

Jenna Lyon's Mid Life Crisis

Crisis, or Epiphany?

A divorce, a change in sexuality, making cultural statements at her son's expense? All of this seemingly strange behavior makes us wonder whether 42-year old fashionista Jenna Lyon is having a mid life crisis.

One could say that each of these events are unrelated, but the behavior is all so rash.

Lyon divorced her husband for a lesbian relationship with an undisclosed J-Crew model.  Recently, she has released a photo of herself, painting her son's nails pink.  She says, "lucky for me I ended up with a boy who's favorite color is pink."  Lyon is making a not-so-subtle statement that gender roles are becoming increasingly unimportant, a very appropriate stance for a highly successful woman who has changed her sexual orientation.

But does all this erratic behavior show for a person who is mentally stable?  I agree, there is nothing wrong being gay, or helping to change our views of gender roles, but at her son's expense?  And followed so recently by a divorce?  When looked at with a clear head, it seems that Lyon's unstable personally is much highlighted than any noble point about sexuality in our culture.
